Hi, I'm so fraustrated with this. I have an online store (I have not finished designed my website yet, but hundreds of anime movies burden for sale) The merchant account provider and want to charge me $ 10 per month with the rate of 2.45% with $ 50 for the fees of such payment representative with authorize door and asked my builder websites have the option of authorize.net payment but two things I enter "Login and Transaction Key" … I do not know what that means, I asked, "Will you give me guys sitting and number of transactions "of authorize so you can come and start accepting credit / debit cards. She did not understand. I'm confused please explain for me. Thank you.
The login and transaction key are provided to you by Authorize.Net. They are, in essence, the login and password to your software (not your Real Account) that allows your website to be used to facilitate communication with your merchant account provider.
Authorize.net is basically acting as a card terminal Credit to your website and the login and transaction key is your way to make sure nobody is abusing their account with them. BTW, the merchant account rates were cited are a bit high. I suggest you look around for a new supplier.
